Meet Sharine V. Thenard, D.D.S., M.S. |

Dr. Sharine Thenard is proud to be a part of the Alameda Pediatric Dentistry team. An Alameda native, she grew up on the island and was even a patient of this dental practice many years ago. After attending St. Joseph’s Notre Dame High School, she completed her Bachelors of Science at UC Davis. Dr. Thenard attended the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry, where she was heavily involved in children’s oral health promotion and screening and also served as student body president. After dental school, Dr. Thenard went to Columbus, Ohio to the Columbus Children’s Hospital to complete a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry. While in Ohio, she also earned her Master of Science from The Ohio State University.
In addition to joining our dental practice, she also teaches at the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Thenard is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and Alameda County Dental Association. She is currently President -Electof the Alameda County Dental Society. She loves to travel, experience culinary adventures, and golf. You may also occasionally see her jogging along the beach in Alameda.
